Betting Rules

These Betting Rules explain how wagers are placed, accepted, settled and reviewed at Casinonic. They are intended to help players understand the general rules that apply to sports betting and other available betting products. By opening an account, placing a wager or using the betting services, you confirm that you have read and understood these rules, along with the applicable Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Responsible Gambling information.

Casinonic operates under a licence from the Tobique Gaming Commission (No. 0000002) and a licence issued by the Comoros AOFA (No. ALSI-202508056-FI2), with 128-bit SSL encryption and PCI-compliant payment processing protecting all player transactions.

1. General betting conditions

Casinonic aims to provide a clear and consistent betting experience. These rules apply to wagers submitted through the website or any other approved betting channel made available to eligible customers. Additional rules may apply to a particular sport, event, market, game or promotion. Where a specific market rule differs from a general rule, the specific rule will normally apply to that market.

You must be legally entitled to use online betting services in the place where you are located. Players must meet the applicable minimum age requirement and must not use the service where online gambling is prohibited. Casinonic may request information or documents to verify identity, age, location, account ownership or the source of funds. An account may be restricted while checks are being completed.

You are responsible for keeping your account details, login information and payment information secure. Bets placed using your account may be treated as authorised by you unless there is evidence of unauthorised access or another circumstance requiring investigation. You should contact support through the available website channels as soon as possible if you believe your account has been compromised.

  • Only one personal account should be used unless Casinonic has expressly approved an alternative arrangement.
  • You must provide information that is accurate, current and complete.
  • You must not allow another person to place bets through your account.
  • You must not use the service for unlawful activity, fraud, collusion, money laundering or any other improper purpose.
  • Casinonic may refuse, limit, suspend or cancel activity where required by law, regulation, security procedures or these rules.

The displayed odds, prices, lines and other market information are provided for information before a bet is accepted. A wager is not final until it has been recorded as accepted in your account or betting history. If a technical issue, obvious error or communication failure occurs, Casinonic may review the affected wager and take the action permitted under the applicable terms and market rules.

2. Placing and confirming wagers

Before confirming a wager, check the event, selection, market, stake, odds and any other information shown on the bet slip. You are responsible for reviewing the bet slip before submission. Once accepted, a wager generally cannot be changed or withdrawn unless a cancellation, cash-out or other feature is expressly offered and the relevant conditions are met.

A bet may be accepted, rejected or referred for review. The information shown in your account or betting history is the primary record of whether a wager has been accepted. A bet that is displayed as pending may still be subject to confirmation, pricing checks or event status updates. Do not assume that a pending wager has been accepted as final until the status confirms this.

Where a price or other market detail is clearly incorrect because of an obvious error, Casinonic may correct or void the affected wager in accordance with the relevant rules. An obvious error may include a mistake in odds, handicap, total, selection, event description or settlement information. If a wager is voided, the stake will generally be returned, subject to any applicable rule or lawful deduction.

Parlays, multis and combinations

A multi or combination wager links two or more selections. The result normally depends on the outcome of each selection, unless a market rule states otherwise. If a selection is void, the remaining selections may be settled under the rules for that type of wager. The final outcome may therefore differ from the original displayed potential return. Always review the bet slip and the relevant market information before confirming a combination wager.

Live and in-play betting

Live betting is offered only on selected events and markets. Delays may occur between an event taking place and the information being displayed. A wager may be suspended while a material incident is reviewed, including a score, dismissal, injury, penalty, change of lead or other significant development. Bets accepted during a delay may be reviewed where the circumstances indicate that the market was not operating normally.

Odds and displayed information

Odds may change before a wager is accepted. The price shown when you submit a bet may not be the price finally accepted if the service requires confirmation of a change. You should check the final confirmation and account history. Information about events, participants, starting times and statistics is supplied to assist with betting but should not be treated as a guarantee of any result.

3. Results, settlement and void wagers

Wagers are settled using the official result or source identified in the applicable market rules. The result may be based on the official governing body, competition organiser, event authority or another reliable source. A result is not necessarily changed because an appeal, protest, disciplinary decision or later review occurs. The relevant settlement rule will explain whether a later amendment is taken into account.

If no specific market rule applies, Casinonic may use reasonable and reliable information to determine the outcome. Settlement can be delayed where an event is postponed, abandoned, interrupted, rescheduled or subject to an official review. A market may remain open until sufficient information is available to settle it fairly.

  • A selection that wins under the applicable market definition is settled as a win.
  • A selection that does not meet the market definition is settled as a loss.
  • A market with no qualifying outcome may be settled as void where the applicable rule provides for this.
  • A void wager normally results in the return of the relevant stake, while a void selection in a combination may be removed and the wager recalculated under the applicable rules.
  • Dead heats, ties, draws and equal outcomes are settled according to the rules for the specific market.
  • Events that are postponed, abandoned or rescheduled may be void or may remain valid, depending on the event and market rules.

A wager may be settled as void if an event does not take place within the period stated in the relevant rules, if the market is materially affected by a change of venue or format, or if the event cannot be settled fairly. A change to the event name, participant, location, starting time or competition structure may be relevant. The treatment of each situation can vary, so the market information should be checked before placing a bet.

Postponed, abandoned and interrupted events

The treatment of a postponed, abandoned or interrupted event depends on the sport, market and applicable rules. Some bets may remain active if the event is completed within the relevant period, while others may be voided. A market based on an outcome that has already been determined may be settled even if the wider event is later interrupted, where the specific rules allow this.

Settlement corrections

If a result is entered incorrectly, or if new information shows that a wager was settled in error, Casinonic may correct the settlement. This may include reversing an incorrect credit or debit and applying the correct result. Players should not treat a payment or account balance entry as final where the underlying settlement is still subject to verification or correction.

4. Fair play, complaints and responsible betting

Casinonic expects all customers to use the betting service honestly and fairly. Prohibited conduct may include exploiting a technical fault, manipulating a market, colluding with another person, using someone else’s account, attempting to bypass account controls or placing bets using funds that do not belong to you. Where suspected prohibited conduct is identified, activity may be suspended while the matter is reviewed.

If you believe a wager has been recorded, accepted or settled incorrectly, first review the bet details, market rules and account history. You may then raise the matter through the support options available on the website. Include enough information for the wager to be identified, such as the relevant date, event, market and bet reference where available. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information in a complaint.

Complaints are reviewed using the available account, transaction, market and settlement information. Casinonic may request further details to confirm account ownership or understand the issue. A complaint outcome may be affected by incomplete information, an ongoing event review or a requirement to comply with legal and regulatory obligations. Nothing in these rules removes any rights you may have under applicable Australian consumer law.

Responsible betting

Betting should be treated as entertainment, not as a way to make money or recover losses. Set a budget before you start and only use money you can afford to lose. Avoid betting when you are upset, tired, under the influence of alcohol or trying to solve financial problems. Keep track of your time and spending, and take regular breaks.

  • Set personal deposit, spend or time limits where those tools are available.
  • Do not chase losses by increasing stakes or betting more often.
  • Use account restrictions, breaks or self-exclusion if betting is becoming difficult to control.
  • Talk to someone you trust if gambling is affecting your finances, relationships, work or wellbeing.
  • Seek independent assistance from an appropriate Australian gambling support service if you are concerned about your betting.

Updates to these rules

These Betting Rules may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the service, markets, technology or applicable requirements. The version available on the website at the time of use will apply, subject to any rights and obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you do not understand a rule, do not place the wager until you have obtained clarification through the available support channels.
